Pendant Light with Glass Sphere
From Switzerland. This light was first invented in the 1930s. Its main advantage is that it diffuses light evenly - ideal when whole rooms need to be brightly lit, including ceilings and walls.
The sphere has three layers of glass; an outer and an inner layer of crystal glass and a thin middle layer of opal glass.
The opal glass distributes a soft light which disperses evenly over the whole surface of the sphere, with a remarkable translucence of over 90 percent.
