We have thought long and hard about why anyone would need this bell in a private home. It can usually be found at the front desk or reception of a hotel or pension. Apart from the obvious uses, e.g. to attract attention for a speech or a toast, there is one perfect opportunity: a little something to give to your son or daughter, who have been treating the place like a hotel anyway...
