Horn Combs.

Good horn combs are made by hand, in a complex production process. Among a multitude of highly precise individual steps, the horn has to be cut open, pressed, sawed and thoroughly polished (this gives the comb its hair-protecting smoothness). These combs are made of strong African zebu horn. They are durable even after the material-reducing processing and, unlike most of the other products on the market today, they are made of one piece. The marbling and colour strongly remind of Irish Horn (in spite of its name also of African origin).

Please note:

Horn is a natural material. Texture, colour and size of the combs can occasionally vary from the pictures. Horn combs have to acquire grease while in use. You can accelerate this process by soaking the comb in hair oil for 24 hours. Please use shampoo for cleaning.
