Warranties
Our manufacturers guarantee the reliability of their products. For the exact warranty conditions, please refer to the descriptions in the catalogue and the specifications stated in the operating instructions. We also bear responsibility for the products within our range. For two full years from the date of your invoice, we will ensure that your warranty claims are fulfilled and that you are provided with high-quality service.
Defects
We must be notified of obvious defects immediately, but within 14 days following delivery at the latest. We shall repair the defects or provide you with a replacement. Please keep the goods available for us. Defects in the case of furniture deliveries must be noted on the shipping document, and must be reported to us immediately.
Return and cancellation
You have a general right to return goods within a period of 14 days.
You are obliged to return the goods to us in the same condition as they arrived and to take reasonable care ensuring that the goods are received by us and are not damaged in transit. There is a returns form attached to the invoice you receive with your goods. Please fill in this form and affix the label to your parcel. (To be on the safe side, please remember to register the parcel.)

We will immediately settle any credit which arises as a result of a return, unless you wish to use this credit to place a further order. If, contrary to experience, the goods do not meet your expectations and our high standards of quality, please contact our complaints department. In case of a problem on your part, there is a generous policy in place, to deal with events following the expiry of the 14-day grace period. You can always talk to us.

All prices in this catalogue include V.A.T. at the current valid rate.
Shipping costs
Shipments will have to be charged according to the current and valid postal charges.
How you can pay
For all orders you will be able to choose from the following method of payment:
1. prepayment after invoice
After making your order on this site a prepayment
invoice will be sent to you. Please only make your payment after you
have received this invoice. To pay you can choose your favourite method
of payment yourself, by cheque payable to
Manufactum GmbH & Co. KG, direct money transfer, etc.
Please state your name and if
possible your customer number, the order or invoice number on the back
of your cheque. Without this information we cannot process your
payment. For security reasons we deposit cheques on receipt.

Delivery
Delivery is carried out
via Mail or parcels service - generally within 14 days. However,
please remember that our products are not mass-produced articles. We
will not always be able to avoid longer delivery times. In such cases,
the order can also be carried out in partial shipments.
For delivieries made to EU member countries the currently valid VAT will be charged.
For deliveries made to non-EU member countries the amount of VAT included in our prices is subtracted.
However,
the price increases by the amount of the corresponding import sales tax
for your country. The exact amount of the customs duty depends on your
country's legal regulations and the individual product.
You will
receive a certificate of origin printed on the invoice. We will not
always be able to avoid longer delivery times. In such cases, the order
can also be carried out in partial shipments.
Purchase of knives
Please note that knives cannot be sold to people under 18 years of age.
Miscellaneous
Our
offer is subject to change without notice. Because our products are not
mass-produced articles, slight deviations from the photographs and
specifications contained in the website may occur.
In order
to process your order, we store your address and all order-related
data. We are, of course, obliged to comprehensively protect your
personal data in accordance with German data protection legislation. In
addition, we assure that your address will not be forwarded to third
parties, and will only be used within the Manufactum group of
companies.
Delivery contracts which are concluded with us are subject to German law.
Insofar as can be agreed, the court of jurisdiction is Recklinghausen (Germany).
Contracts with
Manufactum GmbH & Co. KG are only governed by these terms and conditions.
