Solid Sycamore.

This solid sycamore chopping block is made in the Salzburg area of Austria. Sycamore is a very light-coloured, even-grained wood. Its slow growth means that it has a high density, which in turn ensures its exceptional toughness – and light weight. It’s a wood that’s ideal for kitchen use – oil and fat can’t penetrate and it’s easy to wipe clean.
