A mouth-blown water carafe that comes with one filter cartridge. Its convex– concave shape and moulded handle make the slim jug wonderfully easy to pour from. The oval base easily fits every refrigerator door. This shape is quite difficult to blow; it can only be made with steel, not wooden, moulds and needs a careful finishing. The filter cartridge (a Swiss product) de-calcifies and cleans the water of residue from the pipes such as lead, copper and chlorine particles. This doesn't only improve the taste but also prolongs the life expectancy of coffee makers and other kitchen utensils using water.

The cartridge holder can also be fitted with Brita filter cartridges. Generally, the cartridge should be changed once a month (a rubber marking ring helps you remember when).
