Exterior chrome-tanned cowhide, interior chamois-tanned buckskin. Five pen pouches, 2 large, 3 small. Maximum pen length 14.5 cm, with a pouch fastening. Length 16.5 cm, width 21 cm, weight 60 g.

This was inspired by the instrument roll used by surgeons in an emergency. One shouldn't, of course, take the medical analogy too far, but it is true to say that in both surgery and writing, one false move could ruin everything. We recommend the pen roll for several reasons:
