Glass Oil-Lamps for House and Garden.

It was oil and wax that used to give our ancestors light before the discovery of electricity. Our oil-lamps – from France – are part of this tradition, and, in our case, produce an especially warm, romantic light. The glass container is mouth-blown in one piece and its rather unusual shape (actually suggesting two pieces) has been chosen so that ‘swimming wicks’ made of ordinary cork and replaceable wick material can be used. Low air pressure in the larger glass container prevents the oil there from flooding into the smaller light-bowl. The oil-lamp comes with 40 wicks and 350 ml natural grape seed oil sufficient for one filling and 100 hours of use. You can use ordinary vegetable oil for further re-fills.
