Exotic Perfumes from Far-away Islands. Not from the Lab. Monoi is a cold-pressed coconut oil perfumed by Tiaré blossoms (a gardenia from Tahiti). Under the protection of "Appelation d'Origine Controlée", the oil has a long tradition in Tahiti as well as in France. It is extremely moisturizing, protects the hair very well from sun and salt water and is excellent for massages. If the temperature goes below 22°C, the Monoi becomes solid; you can liquefy it again by running warm water over the bottle.
