Looking After Stone Slabs, Marble and Window Sills. Real beeswax polish is great for stone care, too. If you’re going to treat outside stone window sills, make sure you clean them thoroughly beforehand – it’s a good idea to use sand and soap for this, for example by using our Favilla pumice scouring cloth dipped in soapy water. Also good for this purpose: our “Cleaning Stone” made of a mixture of soap and chalk. Soft soap and chalk: the “Cleaning Stone”. Our cleaning stone combines the cleaning power of soft soap and the polishing properties of chalk. Put some of it on to a damp sponge, let it foam up a bit, and it will clean (and keep in good shape) all metal, sinks, cooking plates and ceramic stove tops, plastics, glass, shower cabins, etc. It is composed of a mixture of hard and soft soaps, ground white marble, aluminium oxide, chalk, coconut fat and glycerine and is very economical in use.
