Since 1962 the Copenhagen watchmaker Ole Mathiesen has been crafting watches whose clean-cut appearance has long been held up as a peerless example of superb Danish design. 71671 Ten out of thousands. The choice.
Everyday writing instruments are subject to fashion. Manufacturers take advantage of this and produce new designs with alarming regularity. This speaks volumes for pens which can rise above this and still be on the market after decades. We have put together a selection of these. We have also added a few which personal experience tells us will endure. » see product details…

Invicta pots from the French cast iron manufacturer are protected with enamel: The casseroles (Mijoteuses) are translucently enamelled, the pans are manufactured with a particularly thick enamel (dark blue on the outside, cream on the inside) and they are so attractive that they make perfect oven-to-tableware. All Invicta bases are 4 mm thick, the walls are 2-3 mm thick. » see product details…
75521 Wool and felted wool.
There are three materials involved here: A double knit, stout yarn made of worsted pure new wool (2xNm 28/2) is spun or rather plated with a cotton thread (Nm 34) – in order to enforce the structure and enhance the moisture transport – so that the soft cotton is located on the inside, where it comes in contact with the skin. The heavily strained parts of the socks – sole, heel and toe – are additionally strengthened with a felted merino wool thread. This felted wool sole is especially abrasion resistant, transports moisture really well and insulates perfectly against the cold. The toes are hand-looped. » see product details...

Devold Blaatrøie – from Norway.
The old-established Norwegian knitwear firm of Devold still today makes the famous 'blue pullover' (this is what Blaatrøie means in English!) on the same machines and using the same 'single-jersey-plating' process as they did a century ago. The outside of this all-round pullover is knitted from smooth virgin wool, making it hard-wearing and wind-proof. The inside is also of wool, but of a softer quality in order to keep in the warmth. » see product details...

The Kösen Toy Manufacture.
Genuine stuffed animals made in Bad Kösen are collector’s items; but what they are actually made for is life in a nursery. Up to 100 parts are necessary to make a Kösen animal with securely fastened safety eyes and a stuffing of non-flammable silicone hollow fibre (in case of teddy bears, they also add some plastic granulate for anatomic accuracy). Unlike many other manufacturers, who mostly use materials made in Asia, they stick to plush that was weaved in Germany, Belgium and France. » see product details...
