From bottom to top: A special spinning top (the theory has yet to be adequately explained). When spun it quickly turns upside down and spins for a while on the pin. Patented more than 100 years ago, the surprising thing is that the top maintains the spin, despite standing on its head. So a top which starts turning clockwise ends up turning clockwise - which is somehow rather difficult to explain. 3 cm dia. Height 3.5 cm. Weight 20 g.
