We tried at least ten other variations of this type of whisk, none of which were satisfactory. But this one is designed and used by people who willingly go without electricity - the Amish people of Pennsylvania, who make everyday items in their own workshops. They sell very few things, but we persuaded them to sell this one. The whisk is made entirely of metal; the gear wheel sets the beaters in opposite motion. Each of the nine single components can be changed and we keep them in stock.
