Ecoalf. Fashion from recycled and regenerated fibers

Spaniard Javier Goyeneche has found his own way to counter the waste of raw materials in our throwaway society with creative ideas. Since 2012, his label has been producing fashion from recycled and regenerated fibers. Revolutionary here is the Ecoalf Ocean Project, in which more than 3,000 fishermen along the Spanish coast now recover plastic waste from the sea. It is transformed into high-quality yarns, which are then used to make clothing, shoes and accessories. A second project in Thailand was launched in 2017. In addition, Ecoalf is also involved in the recycling of textile fibers, namely cotton and wool - and finally, Ecoalf has also mastered the challenge of finding new uses for old car tires.
