These sturdy garden clogs come from Holland, where the traditional „klompenmakers“ still lead the market. The poplar body of the shoes is painted on the outside, the inside is untreated. The uppers are covered with cowhide with a leather over the instep for stability. The clogs are closed at the heels, so they are good to wear in the rain, too.
A tip on sizes:
The clogs are a bit small. Order them one size larger than you normally would. 48,00€ availabilityin stock, can be delivered in 8-9 days only 2 item in stock! Additional delivery expected shortly.
Men’s Rubber Boots For the Garden Lightweight boots with a low shank and cowhide edging around the upper shank edge. The boot sole features dirt-repellant nubs and an easy to clean profile. The boots are lined with robust jersey made of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, which stays elastic and dry. Uppers and outer soles made of natural rubber. Dark green. Shank height for size 42 = 29 cm.
Made of Natural Rubber.
These proper rubber boots are put together like a shoemaker would from different parts glued together with liquid latex around a last, reinforced at the instep and heel and then vulcanized. The rubber stays flexible down to -15 °C (the cheaper models made of PVC become brittle at low temperatures,) and warm the feet (also not the case with PVC ).
Bottes Le Chameau. Hand-made rubber boots.
Le Chameau in the Normandy has been manufacturing high quality boots and shoes since 1927. The materials are: natural rubber on the outside and soft, flexible cotton jersey on the inside.
Clean with lukewarm soapy water. Don’t use solvents and or hard or stiff brushes. After cleaning let the boots dry at room temperature. Don’t put them directly in front of the radiator because temperatures over 50 °C can render the boots useless. Keep them upright in a dark, cool place. 94,00€ availabilityin stock, can be delivered in 8-9 days
