The averruncator cleanly cuts branches up to 2 cm Ø; it’s perfect for the relatively thin branches that you cannot cut smoothly with a saw. Place the shears on top and then around the branch, thereby they are secured against slipping; plus, you’ll find it easier to hold them in place.
