Comforter cover satin

The Danish manufacturer of this bed linen attaches utmost importance to ecologically sound production methods – from organic cotton cultivation and environment-friendly processing to manufacturing in European factories. The textiles are genuinely worthy of the name TrueStuff® under which they are marketed. The cotton yarn used to make this bedding has also been produced according to the rigorous Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). This bed linen is a satin weave; the fabric, however, has a surprisingly subtle matt surface – the result of different coloured fine warp and weft threads: white cotton thread is used in the warp, dyed weft thread produces the colour. This combination of white warp and coloured weft creates a slightly iridescent effect. The bedclothes feature mother-of-pearl buttons and doubled flat felled seams on all sides.

The yarns for TrueStuff® are processed from cotton from controlled organic cultivation according to the guidelines of the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). The processing of the cotton, the weaving and the manufacture of the fabric is done under environmentally compatible conditions. The manufacture of the bedclothes takes place in European firms. In short, the Danish textiles have truly earned their name.

Mercerized, GOTS-certified cotton yarn is woven for this satin bedding in atlas weave, which gives the fabric its characteristic satin sheen. But here the fabric surprises with a restrained matt shimmering surface. This special effect is due to the color differentiation of the fine warp and weft threads: White cotton threads are used in the warp, while the actual colorfulness is contributed by the weft threads. This bicolor of warp (in white) and weft (colored) creates the slight oscillation in the matte sheen.
An eye-catching accent is also set by the ornate mother-of-pearl buttons as well as the all around double set cap seams.
