Boil-proof cooking yarn.
The tear-resistant, strong cooking twine is designed for use in the kitchen to bind meat roulades, asparagus or herb bundles. Only pure and uncolored natural fibers are used for this cooking yarn. It is spooled without a cardboard tube and is equipped with an inside run – which means that the yarn is pulled out from the inside. Therefore, we recommend not to remove the foil surrounding the yarn ball.
Yarn for the kitchen and household.
The yarn holds everything that has to be bound together in the house, office or garden and occasionally it can replace gift ribbon. Our cooking twine was originally designed as yarn for butchers. For us it comes from the doubling mill Seidelmayer in Versmold, Germany. Up to the 1980s, they used to be one of the largest doubling mills in Germany and they supplied the entire meat industry of their region (also called sausage kitchen of Westphalia) with sausage yarn. Today, the family business is one of the few German doubling mills that still manufactures natural yarns. 60 % to 70 % of the yarns used there are made of European linen, but beside this, they also process cotton and even plastic.
