Corded Ribbon

These ribbons come from a Wuppertal weaving mill with a legacy since 1910. They started their business with the manufacture of narrow silk ribbons for shoes and lingerie. Woven from pure cotton, these bright and colourful bands stand out from the flood of multi-purpose ribbons made of polyester swirling from the department store shelves at Christmas. The tightly manufactured cotton fabric features fine cross ribbing and an unobtrusive matt finish. Woven on a special inkle loom for narrow bands, you can use it for guitar or camera straps and belts. These ribbons are perfect for gift wrapping; in the traditional Christmas red, they are especially qualified for Advent decoration. Inkle bands are quite strong: Don’t hesitate to entrust them with the Advent wreath. At the end of the season, you can wash them at up to 60 °C.
