Itcomes with a sieve insert to lower thefood into the simmering fat and to pullit out and shake it off when it isfinished. Or, the pot and sieve insertcan be used to gently steamvegetables.
Instructions for use:
Only high temperature oils should beused for deep frying. They should bewarmed first at a medium heat, whichmay add a few minutes to the processbut drastically reduces the danger ofoverheating. At deep-fry temperaturesunder 180 °C less acrylamide will form.However, take care that the oil is up totemperature before submerging thefood.
