Handmade pet mat wool

A really thick pad for cats or small dogs made of soft, hand-knitted merino wool from certified organic animal husbandry. It is so inconspicuous and quite similar to a pillow that it is hardly noticeable in the apartment and is perceived more as a decorative element than as a regular place of dog or cat. The mat can be used on both sides: One side shows the smooth right-knitted fabric pattern, the other is left-knitted. The wool comes from New Zealand Merino sheep, which can live there in species-appropriate husbandry and give the finest and softest sheep wool. Spun into extra-thick, soft yarn, it is hand-knitted in Lithuania. The moisture and climate regulating properties of merino wool make it a comfortable material for pets as well. At the same time, the wool is easy to care for because it hardly accepts dirt and is self-cleaning due to the scaly fiber surface and the natural wool wax content (lanolin). Regular vacuuming or beating out and airing is therefore usually sufficient, if necessary, you can give the pet mat in the dry cleaning.
