House Numbers from Recycled Plastic

From Plant Pots to House Numbers.
A Cornish company called “ashortwalk” makes these robust house numbers from used plastic plant containers. The figures on the base plate made of black recycled are stamp-pressed and filled in with white paint, and are easy to read from a distance. The system is called “Pot to Product” and was developed by the company itself. The large gardens, garden centres and horticultural clubs in England, including that of the Royal Horticultural Society, regularly collect plant pots, seedling trays, etc., made of plastic that are no longer required. The material is cleaned, sorted and shredded so that it can be made into pellets. The pellets then become the raw material for new products.
