Suitable for Sensitive Faces. Knize Ten Shaving Products.
Each year, about 100 new fragrances come onto the market. Experienced perfumers, who know what a huge compositional challenge it is to invent a new, recognisable, and characterful fragrance, shake their heads for good reason over such excesses. The Knize Ten, on the other hand, has existed since 1925, and in the Econ "Best of the Best" collection, it was the only scent included that could be considered worthy of the epithet. It's a leather note – the first one, by the way, and one of the very few at all. The top note is citrus fresh with petitgrain, orange, rosemary and bergamot, the heart note is dry to woody with cedar and sandalwood, the base note leathery. Next to Joseph Knize, k.u.k. Court supplier, the ingenious designer and poster artist Ernst Deutsch-Dryden was instrumental in the composition of the fragrance. Knize, even today the most renowned men's outfitters in Vienna, offers not only the fragrance but also matching, discreetly scented products for a thorough and nourishing shave. They are designed in such a way that they are also beneficial to sensitive skin – so they contain no alcohol.
