Ladies coat with tie belt

Lanius crafts this straight-cut coat from a grippy, thoroughly weighty cloth with a distinctive, highly visible twill ridge. It's made of eighty percent warming virgin wool and twenty percent recycled polyamide for durability. A smooth viscose lining ensures a good fit when worn. The coat closes with genuine horn buttons, and the tie belt in outer fabric gives shape to the waist. There are also longitudinal dividing seams at the front and back, which visually slim the coat. Two seam set side pockets accommodate the hands and / or small items of daily use.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
