Ladies culotte

This culotte is made of TENCEL™, a lyocell fiber based on wood from sustainably managed forests. Tencel™ has a flowing drape, a silky feel and is cool against the skin. A small amount of added elastic makes the medium-weight knitted fabric slightly more elastic. This also makes the culotte an excellent suitcase and travel piece. Lanius equips the pocketless pants with an elastic band in the back waistband.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
