Ladies fleece jacket

This fleece jacket is unusual in three respects. It starts with the material: it consists entirely of undyed cotton from controlled organic cultivation, which is a natural alternative to the widespread chemical fibers. Then, thanks to its well thought-out cut and the spacious hood that falls softly over the shoulders, it is a full-fledged piece of outerwear - unlike many of its peers, which only pass as an intermediate layer of a multi-layer look. The jacket is closed with a zipper. Two side pockets accommodate small items of daily use.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
