The highlight of this practical hand belt bag are two additional eyelets in the side parts: They allow you to pass the carrying strap through there, and then put it around your waist like a belt: this turns the handbag into a fanny pack. If the strap is attached to the side rings, the bag can be worn as usual over the shoulder or diagonally across the body.
The belt bag is also a little flattering to the hand, because Werner uses strong but extremely supple nappa leather. It is processed by hand with open edges, all edges are carefully polished and dyed. The main compartment is not further divided, a built-in strap with additional card case and a small coin pocket keep cash and credit cards handy. The bag is closed with a double worked flap and incorporated magnetic closure. Incidentally, the bag fits perfectly in color to the Werner toe separators, which you can also find in our range.

The Werner family business from the Palatinate has been working with leather since its foundation in 1911. Sustainability and ecology have always been top priorities. Thus, Werner uses only hides from Alpine cattle from controlled organic farming, which are tanned in German tanneries vegetable and chrome-free. Among other things, modern processes such as olive leaf tanning are used, in which a purely vegetable extract from olive leaves is used for tanning. Thanks to the high quality of the raw materials and the vegetable tanning processes, the leather retains its natural character and supple feel.
The many years of experience with the natural material is also evident in the designs and in the processing. From the first cut to the last seam, the leather is meticulously processed into bags, belts and shoes, sometimes still by hand. The result is shoes with a pleasant feel and a proven fit, as well as thoughtfully designed handbags with practical details. For many years, production took place exclusively at the company's founding location in Pirmasens, but today the "Steppmäde" and "Zwicker" work in Southeastern Europe. The raw materials come from Germany and neighboring European countries, which guarantees a consistently high quality and keeps the transport routes as short as possible.
