Ladies knit sweater linen

Summer knit sweater made of fine, smooth linen knit that adds a colorful accent with its contrasting stripes at the chest and upper arms. The breathable linen with its cooling properties makes the sweater well wearable in summer. Fine ribbed cuffs finish off the neck, sleeves and torso.

On the western tip of the Breton peninsula lies the department of Finistère. According to the Roman name, this is the end of the earth. For the Bretons, on the other hand, it is “Penn ar Bed”, the beginning of the world – a reading that does far more justice to the brand “Les Racines du Ciel” (i. e., the roots of heaven). Nathalie Goyette and Christian Tournafol founded the Quimper-based brand. The two have been producing elegant, feminine and timeless women’s fashion since 2005. Besides aiming at high-quality standards, Les Racines du Ciel’s declared entrepreneurial goal is to promote artisanal traditions and products and thus preserve jobs in impoverished rural areas. They choose their production locations correspondingly.
