Ladies quilted jacket

The outer material of this striking cross-quilted jacket is a ripstop fabric made from recycled polyester. It is lightweight, yet tear-resistant, as it is woven using a special technique: In this process, stronger threads are repeatedly integrated into the otherwise thin fabric - you can see it in the slight "rake box" structure. The soft polyester filling has superior heat retention thanks to its "multi-shape structures". The lining is made of recycled polyamide. In sum, this makes a lightweight, warming, windproof, breathable and water-repellent jacket that can be stowed in a small space thanks to the included pouch. So it can be taken well on the bike, in the backpack or the like. The jacket is equipped with two seam zippered pockets and three inside pockets - one with zipper, one with Velcro. Drawstrings in the torso hem and hood allow for width adjustment.

The owl in the logo of the Danish label Knowledge Cotton Apparel stands for wisdom and knowledge, two elements that are key to the company's history and brand philosophy. Back in 1969, Jørgen Mørup and his father founded a small textile company in the Danish town of Herning and already started to focus on the subject of sustainability. Today, Knowledge Cotton Apparel stands for casual, sporty menswear, usually made from GOTS-certified organic cotton or "Happy Sheep Wool". The label also works with recycled PET bottles, which it shreds, melts down and spins into yarn to make a durable, water-repellent fabric for jackets.
