Seersucker is the name given to a crepe fabric with a "gathered" surface, which is created by the different tension of the warp threads during weaving. The plastic fabric is pleasantly airy against the skin, and it is also easy to care for because it is non-iron. Spencer’s designs reflect his motto that casual cuts and comfortable fitting clothes have nothing to do with a slouchy look. Oliver Spencer has his label’s garments made in the best European workshops – almost half of them based in Great Britain.
