Molinard Homme III
Men's fragrance from Provence
This fragrance from the traditional house Molinard founded in Grasse in 1849 enriched the classic Fougère fragrance concept (lavender, oakmoss and coumarin) of 1882 with the Provence aromas of rosemary, tarragon and lime. They form a refreshing top note above the fougère heart note. The fragrance base features woody, warm cedar notes as well as earthy patchouli and vetiver. With the scent of Asian sweet grass, Molinard had already enriched the fragrance palette (not only green fougère fragrances) in the 1920s.
Molinard from Grasse: cradle of the French perfumery art
Since the 17th century, Grasse has specialized in the distillation, extraction and enfleurage of fragrant flowers grown in the region. Rose, tuberose, jasmine, violet, orange blossom, mimosa, lavender and many other aromatic plants have since been combined by the local perfumers to create fragrances. The traditional house Molinard, where perfumes of timeless elegance are created traditionally by hand and now in the fifth generation, was founded there in 1849.
