Nigel Cabourn Pinstripe Raw Flannel Men’s Jacket
Very British jacket. Made of strong virgin wool flannel.
Nigel Cabourn has this rustic jacket made in England based on the historical model of a business suit. The outer fabric, a strong flannel with a coarse feel, is woven by Fox Brothers in Somerset, southwest England, a wool mill specialized for nearly 250 years in combed and carded fabrics. It is not brushed, as is often the case with flannel, thus the weave remains visible. The jacket has a short lapel and closes relatively high with metal hooks and eyelets on the collar up to the chin. With one breast pocket and two large flap pockets on the front. The sleeve slots can be buttoned. Two piped inside pockets are inserted in the cotton lining and on the left there is an additional narrow pocket for pen, cigar case or comb.
