Marie-Luise Kreuter's guidebook "The Organic Garden" has been the standard work since 1981 in all matters relating to the natural cultivation of fruit and vegetables, herbs, flowers and ornamental plants. As an introduction to the subject of the book, the basic chapter teaches in detail how biological methods can be used to create a natural balance in the garden. The subsequent practical section deals with all gardening tasks from soil cultivation to composting and fertilizing to pest control and plant protection with mechanical and biological means.
