    General Information

    Mathematically Calculated: Combinatorics Plus Geometry.

This series of side tables is characterised by the combinability and geometric forms of its individual elements. The series consists of five oak wood underframes and removable table tops in three different formats which serve as trays. Made of varnished MDF, the trays come in four colours. The top part of the frame has glued mitred corners with 45° degree angles like the trays so that a tray slots neatly into the frame. We offer a choice of five different frame heights to suit different purposes (31 cm, 35 cm, 45 cm, 53 cm and 57 cm) with a surface area of between 20 x 35 cm (small side table) and 73 x 58 cm (proper coffee table).
The different sized trays, which are ordered separately, fit the frames in different ways: the side of the square corresponds to the short side of the large and long side of the small rectangle, the short side of the small rectangle and the side of the square correspond to the long side of the large rectangle. This means that several tables can be variously combined.
The design of the table frame also reflects the designer's affinity with pure geometric forms. For four of the five models, the trained carpenter and industrial designer Tina Glage draws cuboids with the fine oak wood frames (2 cm thick). The tallest of the table frames is the exception. In this case, two of the long legs are set back so that the table can be positioned in front of a low sofa with the table top protruding over the seating area.

    Mathematically conceived: combinatorics plus geometry

This series of side tables is characterized by the ability to combine and the geometric shapes of its individual elements. It is composed of five oak bases and removable tops in three formats that can be used as trays. These trays, made of lacquered MDF, are available in four colors. The frame on the top of the frames is mitered along the edges and, like the trays, cut at a 45° angle so that they fit exactly inside. There are five frame heights (31 cm, 35 cm, 45 cm, 53 cm and 57 cm) to choose from for different uses, and the base area varies between 20 × 35 cm (small side table) and 73 × 58 cm (veritable coffee table).
The dimensions of the trays, which can be ordered separately, are coordinated: The edge length of the square corresponds to the short side of the large rectangle and the long side of the small rectangle, the short side of the small rectangle complements the edge length of the square to the long side of the large rectangle. In this way, several tables can be combined when placed side by side.
The construction of the table frames also indicates the designer's affinity for geometric pure forms. After all, Tina Glage, a trained cabinetmaker and industrial designer, draws the outlines of cuboids in the room with the filigree oak slats (2 cm thick) in four of the five models. The exception is the tallest of the table frames. In this, two of the long edges are offset inward, so that the furniture can be placed in front of a low sofa so that the tabletop overhangs the seat.

This side table series is characterized by combinatorics and the geometric shapes of its individual elements. It is composed of oak wood bases as well as separate tops that can be used as trays.
