Interchangeable Head Toothbrush Siwak Root

Branches and roots of the toothbrush tree known as siwak or miswak 'Salvadora persica (L.)' have been used for centuries in East Africa, the Near East, and especially in the Arab region for thorough and gentle tooth cleaning. The fiber structure of the siwak root is ideal for toothbrushes; the wood only needs to be finely fanned out to form a brush-like head. Siwak root naturally contains high levels of fluorine and silicon, as well as vitamin C, small amounts of tannins, saponins and flavonoids, and minerals such as potassium, sodium, sodium bicarbonate and calcium oxide. So it already brings its toothpaste with it and needs neither water nor toothpaste, which is especially convenient when you're on the go.
We offer you the siwak root in a form that seems unusual at first glance: as a combination of the traditional root with a German-made handle of a conventional toothbrush. An idea that is not new: as early as 1924, a Berlin dentist applied for a patent for a similar model. The material for the handle, however, is new, the plastic is made on the basis of sugar.

The root head is simply moistened a little and then gently brushed over the curves of the necks of the teeth along the gum line, the outer and inner surfaces of the teeth - without pressure or even scrubbing. This makes cleaning particularly gentle and at the same time extremely effective, as each tooth is cleaned individually. Even the brushing itself - after a short familiarization period - is found to be very thorough and at the same time pleasant. Thanks to the angled position of the brush head, even the inner sides of the teeth and difficult-to-reach places, such as the back molars, can be cleaned well.
