The Beske brothers prefer to work with wood, steel - and concrete, which they cast by hand in meticulous detail. As a building and construction material, concrete is unique anyway: On the one hand, the machine-produced stone is easy to process, enormously stable and so robust that it can last for generations. But above all, and this is particularly important to the Cologne-based manufacturer, concrete is an environmentally compatible material. With the addition of cement as a binder, concrete consists of the natural raw materials water, sand and gravel, whose transport routes can be kept short. And last but not least, the versatile material is made for the purist designs of the manufactory, whose clear geometric shapes fit into any room and set striking accents there.
