Summer Blanket Linen and Cotton Fleece

It may sound unusual, but combining linen and cotton for a bedspread results in the perfect combination for a summer comforter. The Austrian manufacturer produces a firm and durable fleece for the filling by mixing and merging the two fibres. The high percentage of linen (70%) ensures a comfortably dry sleeping climate even when the temperatures rise in summer. The linen fibres quickly absorb up to a third of their weight in moisture without giving off a damp feel; they, in turn, give off the moisture to the ambient air directly creating an impression of coolness on the skin. The cotton component (accounting for 30% of the fleece) makes the blanket soft and elastic.

Hefel in the Vorarlberg region uses nothing but natural fibres from controlled organic cultivation for this comforter’s filling and ticking. Notably, the ticking is made up from refined cotton satin in fibre-tight quality.
