The invigorating freshness of alpine mountain streams is represented by this clear unisex fragrance with a stronger, invigorating citrus note and green, woody aromas. It begins with citrusy, fruity top notes of orange, basil, mandarin, bergamot and lemon. Jasmine in the heart note and woody notes in the base of sandalwood, cedar and pine follow, as well as patchouli and vetiver. The 2828 in the name refers to the height of the Pirchkogel peak in the Stubai Alps.

While hiking in the Tyrolean Alps, surrounded by mountain ranges, blooming alpine meadows and babbling streams with clear glacier water, three Austrians decided to capture the scent of the Alps in a perfume. An ambitious project, not only because the Alpine world offers an abundance of fragrances, but also because the perfume market does. Pharmacist Lara Balacco, her partner Daniel Deutsch and his brother Benjamin worked for a long time until the first fragrance was composed and a name was found for the young perfume manufactory - the first in Tyrol. The basis of Acqua Alpes' natural fragrances - pronounced Acqua Alpess - is mountain spring water from the Tyrolean Alps. The names of the perfumes also reflect the close connection to the alpine homeland: 2828, 2677 and 3333, for example, denote the heights of the surrounding mountain peaks of Pirchkogel, Glungezer and Schaufelspitze. The company philosophy, on the other hand, is clear from the outset: the basis is exclusively natural fragrance essences. The three Tyroleans create the fragrances themselves and also produce them by hand in their own laboratory in Inzing. Acqua Alpes has designed the perfumes as unisex fragrances; they are elegant, sometimes multi-layered, such as Oud 3333, yet fresh, rather light and unobtrusive.
