Every time you light one of these candles the flame will illuminate the body of the candle from within, highlighting the structure of the hand kneaded candles and drawing the attention toward the alternation between the translucent and clouded sections: these beeswax candles radiate festivity. They are hand made from pure beeswax, without any admixtures, in a workshop in the Münsterland. They exude the subtle, characteristic fragrance of beeswax.

Natural beeswax owes its characteristic, sunny-warm scent to the honey hoarded in the comb, its color to the carotene of the stored pollen oils. In the air, the odor on the wax surface weakens a little with time, but with the flame again unfolds its full intensity. Likewise, the whitish coating that can form on the surface of the beeswax due to oxidation is a sign of the unadulterated natural material. (Bee) wax adulteration, you can therefore recognize by the fact that the wax smells unchanged strong and is always the same yellow color even when stored open for a long time.
