The idea behind ROLLPACK is a bag that can be carried in different ways and whose volume can be adapted to its contents. The former is made possible by the adjustable shoulder straps and the modular handle, which can be attached to both the short and the long side of the bag thanks to its metal hooks. The roll-top construction allows the bag to be made smaller or larger. The main compartment has inner compartments in various sizes, including a padded laptop compartment made of wool felt, suitable for laptops up to 16 inches in size. A special version of the tried-and-tested YKK® metal zipper with a cotton strap instead of plastic allows quick and secure access to the most important contents. But the highlight is the material: after several years of material research and development, the Swiss bag manufacturer QWSTION has designed a textile that is fully woven into the DNA of the Zurich label: Bananatex® is the world's first technical fabric made from fibers of the banana plant Abacá, which is organically cultivated in the Philippine highlands. As a natural alternative to synthetic, petroleum-based textiles, the in-house development is not only ecological and economical, but - for the first time processed in the latest bag collection - very robust and durable, light and flexible with a finely structured feel. A layer of beeswax makes the sustainable canvas fabric water-repellent, hard-wearing and develops a beautiful patina with use.
