Balcony box robinia wood

Wood as a material is not only much more beautiful than the plastic otherwise so common for balcony boxes. It can also be much more durable, especially if, as in this case, the container is fired from the inside. In addition, the thermal properties of the wood - in this case common robinia - benefit plant growth. Due to its strength, the wood of the robinia is quite insensitive to moisture. Nevertheless, the manufacturer of our balcony boxes recommends not to plant them directly, but either to cover them with foil from the inside or to use a suitable plastic container to prevent the wood from twisting in the longitudinal direction. We obtain the wooden balcony boxes from Hungary, where the robinia is one of the most important forest trees.
