Beard scissors stainless steel
Very versatile beard scissors. For cutting, trimming and trimming.
The beard scissors is slightly smaller than common hair scissors, therefore also more maneuverable and easier to handle. Thus, it is ideal for cutting, trimming and trimming beards, as well as shortening other facial hair. The micro-serration of the cutting edges ensures that the scissors grip the beard hair well and it does not slip off the cutting edge.
The beard scissors are forged from stainless steel and their surface is finely matted, the scissors therefore do not rust and can be used even with wet hair. Dreiturm obtains the beard scissors from Italy and tests them again carefully for gait and cutting durability.
Famous beards. Bearded celebrities.
The beard is a business card and at the same time offers the opportunity for self-expression. As such an unmistakable means of expression of the individual personality, many a beard has helped its wearer to unmistakable fame, so that some beards were simply named after their wearer, as in the case of Henry IV, Leonidas I, Victor Emanuel II or Kaiser Wilhelm I.
Dreiturm. Manicure Instruments from Solingen.
These stainless steel manicure instruments come from the traditional manufacturer J. A. Schmidt & Söhne in Solingen. Since 1856, their manicure utensils have borne the Dreiturm trademark. And to this day, the family business, founded in 1829, has remained true to its long-standing location in Solingen and handcrafted production. Manufacture is no euphemism here: Most Dreiturm products are still made by hand. The scissors, for example, require more than 80 work steps in the making: starting with the initial shaping of the blank in the die, followed by the hardening and tempering, and finished with the overall grinding and fine grinding. The Solingen manufacturer has each instrument processed with particular care aiming for lasting durability.
Investing in Quality Pays Off.
You can recognise the high quality, among other things, by the smooth assembly of the scissor halves (consisting of the upper and lower shear blade) by means of thread and screw, by the fine-tuning and, last but not least, by the precise closing of the cutting edges. Scissors grinder may confirm: The edges should meet at one point only and, when the scissors are closed, the inner sides of the blades should rest with a sufficient margin in between – optimally, a minimal gap remains visible between the upper and lower halves. When opening and closing, the point of cutting moves alongside the blades up to the tip. With nail nippers, however, it is the other way round: the cutting edges are filed so tightly during the final check of the edge holding ability that the two blades only meet at one point: in the tip. Down the blades, a narrow gap, only visible against the light, remains. Only when squeezed, the edges close completely and tweak the nail easily and cleanly. The numerous production steps and the diligent work require time and, above all, a great deal of both: intuition and experience – assets no computer can simulate. Production is costly this way, yet, the investment pays off: These manicure instruments work precisely and reliably for a long time.
