Bracelet Stainless steel springs, copper-gold

Bracelet Stainless steel springs, copper-gold
- Flexible through and through: with a textile look
- Striking: inspired by industrial springs
- Cooperation with the Turin architect and designer Tiziana Redavid
General Information
Resilient and incredibly decorative
This bracelet, which literally revolves around stainless steel springs, is flexible through and through. First of all, there is a double-layered long tension spring inside, which is practically invisible when worn. It allows the bracelet to slip effortlessly over the wrist. And secondly, there are numerous copper, gold-colored and bluish spring rings (Ø 9 mm) on the outside. Thanks to their elasticity and flexibility, they adapt gently to the wrist, ensuring a high level of comfort. They are also robust and durable, allowing the bracelet to retain its shape even with daily wear. With its fascinating design and almost textile feel, the bracelet is equally suitable for everyday wear and special occasions. It can be worn on its own or combined with other pieces of jewelry to create an individual look. The design was created by Turin-based architect and designer Tiziana Redavid, who was inspired by industrial springs in the mid-1990s to create decorative accessories from such shapes. She produces this bracelet in collaboration with Ménard under her brand name "la mollla". The name varies the Italian word for feather (la molla) to a spelling with three "l "s, reminiscent of the dynamic movement of the feathers.
Ménard. Timelessly beautiful and good
When Gisela and Detlef Menard founded their own company in 1981, the focus was still on the sale of antique-style jewelry. It has long since become an established family business that stands for timeless design and high quality. To achieve this, Ménard harmoniously combined aspects of craftsmanship, function and design. The clasps on the necklaces and bracelets, for example, are not just a necessary constructive evil, but in their simple yet effective design are sometimes pieces of jewelry in their own right. No wonder Ménard has protected them under design law. The necklaces and bracelets made from the colorful Murano glass beads, which come from the lagoon island near Venice, famous for its glass art, are almost a trademark. And of course Ménard also uses classic jewelry materials such as pearls.
Due to the high working and social standards, short transport routes and technical expertise, Ménard relies largely on Germany as a location: the silver clasps, for example, come from the gold town of Pforzheim, stones and chains from the gemstone town of Idar-Oberstein. It is worth noting that Ménard works specifically with refineries that only use recycled silver and gold for its precious metals.
