Kost makes this curling comb from cherry wood and stabilizes it at the back with a wooden strip whose grain runs lengthwise at a 90° angle to that of the body. The teeth are individually sawn and polished, and the tips of the teeth are also carefully rounded to protect the hair and scalp. The wide teeth and spacing between them make the strand comb particularly suitable for long, curly and thick hair.

A word about care: You can gently clean the wooden comb with warm water and mild shampoo, then dry it with a towel and treat it from time to time with a little olive oil or beeswax balm.
