This colorful collection was created in collaboration with Karel Martens and is based on his poetic work for the 500th anniversary of the northern French port city of Le Havre. To celebrate this special occasion, the renowned graphic designer and typographer suggested giving Le Havre's traditionally white beach huts, which characterize the cityscape, a colorful coat of paint. Together with researchers from the computer science laboratory for information processing and systems at the University of Le Havre and members of La Faironnerie, a laboratory that combines science and art, the Dutch-born designer developed an algorithmic composition based on the city's founding decree. The resulting choreography of stripes in ten different colors and six different widths was painted on the visible surfaces of the huts. Each individual hut was given an individual coat of paint - from a distance, they form an atmospheric unit in their diversity and the work of art entitled COLOURS ON THE BEACH. A statement that could not be better suited to Suite702. Because color, diversity and a sense of community characterize the brand and are part of its DNA.

Just like Le Havre's beach huts, these colorful terry towels and their front and backs are always different in color and stripe pattern, but in combination they leave no doubt that they belong together.
