This medium-weight (basis weight 340 g/sqm) blanket is woven from soft, skin-friendly cotton and is therefore absolutely suitable for summer use. This is especially convenient for those who are very sensitive to skin and therefore do not use blankets made of virgin wool or alpaca. The cotton blanket is exceptionally soft and does not scratch, because it is additionally roughened. It is woven from pure organic cotton - thanks to the breathable, absorbent material, the blanket is especially comfortable in the summer: it warms in the cool evening hours and feels very pleasant even in direct contact with the skin. In addition, cotton is insensitive and easy to clean, so you can put the blanket in the washing machine at 30 ° C in between.

We offer the cotton blanket in two versions: one with a classic herringbone pattern and hemmed edges. On the other hand, as a doubleface woven with two different plain-colored sides. The edges here are neatly edged all around with white cotton yarn. The blanket is manufactured in the traditional Framsohn weaving mill in the Lower Austrian Waldviertel.

To document this, Framsohn has been certified in accordance with the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). This sets high standards for the production of textiles made from organically produced natural fibers - across the entire production chain: from the extraction of textile fibers, through their processing and distribution, to ethical and social criteria. Compliance with the standard is reviewed annually and the GOTS certification is re-awarded.
