Cuboro® Building set Junior
As an introduction to the big wide world ...
... of marble tracks, the junior construction set captivates the younger generation primarily because the marble remains mainly (but not only!) on the surface and its course can be followed directly. In addition to the classic Cuboro® cube as a straight line, curve and intersection, this set also includes long rails and so-called base elements that can be piled up to form columns and pillars. This way, your offspring can immediately build their first exciting marble run and design equally (marble-)free constructions.
By the way: This construction set can be combined with any other Cuboro® set - even with older versions that you may have inherited or purchased yourself years ago.
Fascinating support program. Unlimited fun
Up and down, straight and curvy, horizontal and diagonal, tunnels, funnels and crossings: Playing with Cuboro®, your child will find out what makes the ball roll. And why. And where it rolls to. Or where it doesn't!
Pure visualization, creative tinkering and combining as well as logical and foresighted thinking, mathematical and spatial imagination - Cuboro® is the purest development program for your child, and it is purely playful and full of childlike fascination. We would like to point out that even as grown-up children we could not escape this fascination: Free yourself from appointments before you get busy with Cuboro®. Young and old alike like to forget time and space while they try out ever new combinations. Because with all the heavyweight terms touting the educational benefits of this building block system, it's easy to lose sight of what's most important: Cuboro® is endless fun.
The glass marble rolls through long chutes, whizzes through tight curves, disappears into a tunnel, rolls on undercover, and falls out of its loophole in a completely different place. A successful combination of the elements results in tracks that run both on the surface of the elements and through their tunnel holes. The combination possibilities tend towards infinity - the how and where of the marbles depends entirely on the small and large master builders, who can invent ever new marble run mazes even with simple constructions.
Swiss wood in Swiss precision. Cuboro®
An original form made of clay, a prototype made of fir wood and finally the decision in favor of solid natural beech wood: In constant tinkering, developer and special educator Matthias Etter has perfected the Cuboro® system since the 1970s. The cube with an edge length of 5 cm has since been joined by many other shapes with milled channels and holes that run straight or curved - masterpieces such as the horizontal curved holes leave even experts amazed. All elements can be freely combined with each other, and since a building block can combine up to four functions, usually in multiple ways. Each element is manufactured with the highest precision: It takes up to 30 work steps to bring an element with its precise dimensions and rounded, polished edges to hand-flattering perfection.
The beech wood comes from regional forestry and is certified as Swiss wood. Cuboro® has the glass balls manufactured by a specialist in Japan: They are precisely matched in size and weight to the elements so that they roll smoothly through their course.
Not suitable for children under 3 years. Risk of suffocation due to small parts that can be swallowed.
