Gymnastic belt.
Popular in the 60s for muscle building, this was developed by Erich Deuser, one time physiotherapist to the German national football team. Modelled on a bicycle inner tube, the 3 cm wide rubber band can be used for a variety of muscle building exercises and also for remedial exercise following injury. Due to its size it is a handy travelling companion.
