An old form of dough stirrer, unjustly forgotten in our country. With its multiple curved and sturdy loop of strong stainless steel wire, it makes stirring and mixing heavy doughs - bread doughs, yeast doughs, gingerbread doughs - quite easy; dough and utensil do not stick together as much (unlike when using stirring spoons or the often less sturdy whisk). Lighter sponge and sponge doughs can be aerated very well with the dough mixer.

The multiple, springy loops made of solid stainless steel wire make it much easier to mix heavy doughs - bread, yeast or gingerbread doughs, for example. The dough doesn't stick to the utensil - which is not the case when using less robust mixing spoons or whisks. Air can be beaten into lighter batters and sponge mixtures very easily with the dough hook.
