Enameled tableware is a classic in the outdoor sector. Enameled plates and mugs were used long before plastic or aluminium camping utensils were available. Not only because the material is solid and robust, but also because enamel is corrosion-resistant, scratch-proof, heat-resistant and tasteless, and last but not least because it is easy to clean. But what makes the material so solid? Enamel is basically nothing more than ironware coated with silicate glass. It owes its outstanding properties to this surface coating. Inconspicuously enameled in matt black and cream, it cuts a fine figure not only at picnics, hiking or camping, but also indoors.
